English singer-songwriter Newton Faulkner has added headline shows to his Australian visit next year.
Already revealed on Bluesfest's 2024 line-up, the folk-pop-rock artist will perform standalone shows in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle next March.A musician whose live show encompasses soul-soothing moments enriched by lyrics that pierce the heart, Newton has released seven studio albums since emerging in 2007 – the most recent being 2021's 'Interference (Of Light)'.
Fans can expect all the hits ('Dream Catch Me', 'Gone In The Morning', 'Write It On Your Skin', 'Finger Tips', 'Clouds') alongside deeper cuts and a few rarities.
"We are very proud to be presenting these artists, the first being the talented Newton Faulkner," says tour promoter Peter Noble OAM.
"Newton last toured with Bluesfest Tours in 2018, and he's a crowd favourite, so it's great to have him tour Australia and play Bluesfest 2024 as well."
