New Order Australia 2025 Tour

New Order
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and some beyond.

Arguably one the greatest dance rock, synthpop bands ever, New Order return to Australia in 2025.

Their first shows down under since 2020 (which was cut short when they were forced to cancel their Melbourne concert as COVID caused global lockdowns), the English group will headline concerts in Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane before two performances at the famed Sydney Opera House's Forecourt next March.

With a catalogue of certified classics led by 'Blue Monday' and 'Bizarre Love Triangle', New Order's legacy as musical pioneers is cemented by 10 studio albums released across a 34-year period, commencing with 1981's seminal 'Movement' featuring 'Dreams Never End', with their most recent LP being 2015's 'Music Complete' (that featured La Roux's Elly Jackson, Iggy Pop and The Killers' Brandon Flowers).

Their other major hits include 'Age Of Consent', 'True Faith', 'Regret', 'Temptation', 'Leave Me Alone', 'Dreams Never End' and 'Ceremony'. "It's an honour to be coming back to perform in one of our favourite places," shares the band.

"We sadly had to cancel a Melbourne show in March 2020, as a consequence of COVID and are so happy we can come back to play again. We've always loved playing in Australia and are excited to be returning for a run of very special shows in 2025. Good things come to those who wait!"

Tickets on sale from 10am (local time) on 31 October.
