A magical new concert series under the stars will hit Hobart this November – the first of its kind in the heart of the city.
Night At The Point is a brand-new weekend of open-air concerts, set on the beautiful lawns of Wrest Point which overlooks Hobart’s iconic River Derwent. It’s a three-night event bringing some of Australia’s finest artists to a picturesque Tasmanian waterfront setting.
Night At The Point is brought to audiences by the same team behind Sydney’s Night At The Barracks and Brisbane’s Night At The Parklands.
The concert series will kick off with iconic Aussie rock musicians Jon Stevens, followed by much-loved electronic act PNAU, before ARIA Award-winning multi-platinum superstar Delta Goodrem.
PNAU will be joined by special guests, Sumner, while Delta will be joined by special guest Dami Im.
“I’m beyond excited to be returning to Hobart after 20 years – and what a way to come back,” Delta Goodrem says. “Performing at Night At The Point, surrounded by the energy of this incredible city and its people, is really special. The Tassie locals have always been so warm and welcoming, and I can’t wait to share this night of music and memories with everyone.”
Attendees can expect, alongside great music, elevated food and beverage offerings, state-of-the-art sound, lighting, and expansive video screens – so you can be immersed in the atmosphere no matter where you’re stationed on the night.
“We’re chuffed to be expanding the ‘Night At The’ series across the strait,” Second Sunday Co-Founder Cameron Coghlan says. “Hobart is set to wow the crowd with a stellar line-up of premium arts and musical performances. With its striking waterfront setting, Wrest Point offers the perfect backdrop for unforgettable nights of musical excellence and nostalgia – it was a natural fit for Tassie to be next.”
Tickets are on sale 1 August.
Night At The Point is on at Wrest Point Lawns (Hobart) 7-9 November.
