This October, a brand-new West Australian festival will take root in the heart of the Great Southern – New Farm, New Country.
The inaugural event, taking place at New Farm Campground (between Denmark and Walpole) will span three days, inviting music lovers to immerse themselves in an unforgettable blend of alt-country and folk music, all set against the breathtaking beauty of the region.
New Farm, New Country is rooted in regional spirit, built by and for the Great Southern. It aims to foster long-term cultural impact through its support of local creatives.
International acts, east coast favourites and stand-out local talents pepper the line-up, led by Swimming Bell (USA), making their Australian debut with a dreamy, cinematic psych-folk sound. They’ll be joined by David M. Western, Charlotte Le Lievre, Emily Barker, The Wilds, The Nomadics, Lemon Myrtle, RACOO, Tammy London, Stack of Bibles, Anna Schneider, and Polly Medlen.

“Thrilled to announce that I’m heading back to WA in October to play New Farm, New Country,” Charlotte Le Lievre says on socials. “Looking forward to sharing some songs and catching up with new and old friends! It’s an absolute dream of a line-up!”
More names are yet to be announced.
New Farm, New Country takes place at New Farm Campground (Western Australia) 17-19 October.
