Neil Young And Crazy Horse Announce Australian Tour

Neil Young
Arts Editor and Senior Writer (many years until 2012)
After yesterday's historic developments, we expected Neil Young and Crazy Horse to be on the first plane to Colorado. Instead, the legendary singer-songwriter and his notorious band are on their way to Australia. Guess he really is sober.

The tour will take in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Hunter Valley, Geelong, Wellington and Auckland, with only one show in each location. It'll be Young's first headline tour with the band since 2003's Greendale shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Crazy Horse, comprised of Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina and Frank "Poncho" Sampedro, was recently described by Young in his autobiography as "a vehicle to cosmic ares that I am unable to traverse with others." Young and the band recently released yet another album together, Psychedelic Pill, through Warner.
