UK pop-punk rockers Neck Deep return to Australia in 2025.
The 'Wish You Were Here' and 'December' hitmakers will headline concerts in Fremantle, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane next April. "Getting stupid in Australia next year with our good mates State Champs," the band posted.Their first shows down under since September 2023, this run of concerts follows release of Neck Deep's self-titled album at the start of 2024. A return to Neck Deep's roots, the record features 'Heartbreak Of The Century', 'Take Me With You', 'Dumbstruck, Dumbf...', 'We Need More Bricks' and 'It Won't Be Like This Forever'.
"There's breakup songs, there's songs about life, there's songs about your parents, there's songs about mental health," singer Ben Barlow told us last January. "Hopefully [the album can] be an arm around the shoulder in your worst times and a soundtrack to your best times too.
"People love us for being a pop-punk band, and that's the thing that we lent on for a long, long time – and it feels right to go back to that."
Albany, New York, pop-punk band State Champs ('Secrets', 'Stitches') join the tour as the main support act, having recently released their own self-titled album featuring 'Silver Cloud'.
"Nah yeah Ozzzz, we're finally coming back to muck around this April with the absolute BOYS in Neck Deep," shares State Champs. "Can't wait to hit a couple well-timed f...in' oaths, how ya goin' and maybe get called a bogan if we're lucky."
