National Live Music Awards 2019 Nominees

Stella Donnelly has received six nominations in the 2019 National Live Music Awards.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Nominees for the 2019 National Live Music Awards (NLMAs) have been announced, with Perth artist Stella Donnelly and SA electronic duo Electric Fields topping the list with six and five nominations respectively.

The fourth annual NLMAs will present 54 awards across multiple categories at venues around the country in December.

"We at the NLMAs would like to congratulate all the nominees,” NLMA Director Larry Heath says.

“We have such a strong collection of talent here - some first-time nominees, others returning favourites. With us bringing the public on board to vote for 32 of these awards, it really is anyone's game. We can't wait to see who wins and wish the best of luck to all the nominees.”

Electric Fields’ five nominations includes the biggest award of the night Live Act Of The Year, which also sees nominations for Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, WAAX, Mojo Juju and Amyl And The Sniffers.

Meanwhile, Perth artist Stella Donnelly and her band sit with six nominations, including Live Voice Of The Year. It’s not the first time Donnelly nor Electric Fields have received NLMAs acclaim; both have multiple NLMAs to their name.

The NLMAs recognises the immense wealth of musical talent in Australia as well as live music events and live music venues in each state.

This year’s awards will be presented at Sideway in Canberra, The Tote in Melbourne, The Newsagency in Sydney, The Royal Oak Hotel in Launceston, Epilogue Rooftop in Alice Springs, Crown & Anchor in Adelaide, Mojos in Perth and The Triffid in Brisbane.

The 2019 National Live Music Awards are on at the listed venues 4 December. Congratulations to all nominees for the 2019 National Live Music Awards.
