A star-studded line-up has been announced to perform at this year's National Indigenous Music Awards ceremony.
The historic Darwin Amphitheatre will play host to hip hop legends AB Original with Dan Sultan and Paul Kelly, as well as 2016 NIMA winner Gawurra.
The 2017 NIMAs will also feature performances from Numbulwar Red Flag Dancers, Leah Flanagan, Electric Fields, Apakatjah and Emily Wurramara.
Now in its 14th year, the National Indigenous Music Awards celebrates the mainstream success of Indigenous music and provides a platform for the next generation of Australian musicians.
2017 has been a momentous year for Indigenous music, with AB Originals taking out the Australian Music Prize, Busby Marou's album 'Postcards From The Shell House' topping the ARIA charts and Isaiah Firebrace representing Australia at Eurovison.
The NIMAs in 2017 also coincides with the 50 year commemoration of the national referendum to recognise Indigenous people, making the achievements of our Indigenous artists all the more significant.
The National Indigenous Music Awards is on at Darwin Amphitheatre 12 August.
