After been forced to cancel their 2022 event (due to a COVID), Nannup Music Festival is back in 2023 with a massive line-up of national stars and local indie talent.
Among the established stars headed to Nannup are Darren Hanlon, Emily Lubitz, Felicity Urquhart And Josh Cunningham, Harry James Angus, Jeff Lang, Jess Ribeiro, Jordie Lane, Kee'ahn, Little Georgia, Little Quirks, Liz Stringer, Michael Waugh, Murray Cook's Soul Movers, and William Crighton.They join a strong contingent of WA artists led by Carla Geneve, Grace Barbé, King Ibis, Nectar, Pot Plant House Party, Tanya Ransom, and Thornbird.
"How awesome does it feel to be getting ready for the 2023 Nannup Music Festival!" shares Festival Director Phaedra Watts.
"How deflating it was to have cancelled our 2022 event, to disappoint everyone, including ourselves. Yet here we are safe and sound ready to bring in our 2023 festival.
"So many incredible beings are coming to join us, I really want to talk of them all, but the website is going to do that; please check them all out as they are wonderful.
"Among them we have: Loved WA locals like Kiera Jas, Rose Parker and Lincoln McKinnon, remote acts Dulnga, Wildfire Manwuurk and The Krui3ers, as well as some special acts, new to Nannup including Bumpy, Jeff Lang, Liz Stringer, Kee'ahn, Nathan Cavaleri, Van Walker & The Ferriters and ThornBird.
"Fantastic emerging artists like Mia June and Siena Rebelo, and previous winners such as Sunday Lemonade and Racka Chachi. Returning favourites like Emily Lubitz, Darren Hanlon, Little Georgia and Harry James Angus.
"Along with heaps of creative things to do: Aroma Arts, Art Jam WA, workshops with wonders like Cat & Clint, The Wayward Earls or Murray Cook's The Soul Movers. There will be kids shows and activities, sustainability talks, poetry, meditation, yoga and more.
