My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar has been found dead at home.
Multiple news outlets, including TMZ, have reported the musician's decomposing body was discovered at home when authorities arrived to take away two dogs.
Bryar, 44, was last seen alive on 4th November. Police have confirmed that foul play is not suspected and a medical examiner is currently determining his cause of death.
Robert Cory Bryar was the longest serving – and last official – drummer of the band, playing between 2004 until his departure in 2010.
His final contribution was performing on the band's final release, Conventional Weapons, before their disbandment in 2013. After his departure, Bryar became a behind-the-scenes figure in tours for several bands before retiring from music in 2014. He subsequently became a real estate agent and an active supporter of dog rescue charities and sanctuaries.
My Chemical Romance reformed in 2019 and were scheduled to tour Australia in 2020 including at Download Festival which was cancelled due to the Pandemic. They toured Australia in March 2023.
