The Fashion World of the Jean Paul Gaultier series at the National Gallery of Victoria will be transformed into a late-night destination for the return of its popular Friday Nights series.
In addition to exhibition entry, an exciting line-up of Australian and international performers will feature at Friday Nights, including electronic artists, solo performers and bands. Also included during Friday Nights will be pop-up fashion, talks, and food and dining opportunities within the heart of the Gallery.
Rone, from Melbourne street art collective Everfresh Studio, will lead a crew of street artists to create a spectacular backdrop for the performances.
Tony Ellwood, Director NGV said: “Friday Nights offers an enhanced experience of the The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier with a focus on providing a social setting for people to catch up with friends at the Gallery. Visitors can see the exhibition after-hours in a different setting, while also experiencing some of the most innovative live acts performing today.”
