Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

British rockers Muse return after a three-plus year absence with the single 'Won't Stand Down'.

Soaked in heavy, sludgy reverb throughout, flashes of pulsating black metal and Matt Bellamy's operatic, soaring, piercing vocals, 'Won't Stand Down' has a sibling feel to 2004 'Absolution' track 'Stockholm Syndrome'.

"Won't Stand Down' is a song about standing your ground against bullies, whether that be on the playground, at work or anywhere," Matt says.

"Protecting yourself from coercion and sociopathic manipulation and to face adversity with strength, confidence and aggression."

With the two-time Grammy winners currently working on more new material, 'Won't Stand Down' was produced by Muse and mixed by Dan Lancaster (Bring Me The Horizon, Enter Shikari).
