In a sweet double bill and a nostalgic adventure through old-worldly folk and rhythm and blues, Muireann Bradley and Jon Muq join forces for an east coast tour.
Hailing from Ballybofey in County Donegal, Muireann Bradley is a 17-year-old folk and blues guitarist, with a knack for acoustic, fingerpicking country, piedmont and ragtime blues styles as she takes audiences through from the 1920s to the 1940s.
Muireann released her debut album ‘I Kept These Old Blues’ in 2023.
Jon Muq, who was born in Uganda and is now living in Texas, celebrates his first ever Australian run with this tour. He draws from African as well as western musical trends and traditions, sharing his stories, culture and voice with audiences. He’s toured with Billy Joel, Norah Jones and Mavis Staples.
“I am so stoked to do my Australian debut tour in March 2025, we will be rocking together with Muireann Bradley,” Jon says. “It will be great shows of discovery.”
These two divine musical storytellers will come together in one double act run up and down the east coast, set to warm hearts and souls.
Tickets on sale 14 November.
