It's only been a decade-plus, but Canadian indie rockers Mother Mother will finally make their way down under with their debut Australian tour.
The band will headline concerts in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth February 2023."We feel so very lucky to be able to tour the world doing what we love," the band's frontman Ryan Guldemond says.
"We haven't been to Australia yet as a band, so we are beyond excited to play for our fans there, who have been incredibly supportive and patient. We can't wait!"
Ryan and his band mates Molly Guldemond, Jasmin Parkin, Ali Siadat and Mike Young have had a whirlwind past decade: over 2 billion streams and views, more than 16 million monthly listeners on digital platforms, and 4.1 million Shazam searches.
Now they're headed to Australia for the very first time.
"We've heard from so many of our touring friends how incredible the music scene is in both of these countries and we cannot wait to go see for ourselves," the band posted to Facebook.
"Thanks to all the fans in this part of the world who give us cause to make the journey. Gonna be a special one."
Tickets on sale from 1pm (local time) on 15 July.
