One of the most enduring voices of British indie rock-pop the last four decades, this December Morrissey returns to Australian shores.
The tour, dubbed '40 Years Of Morrissey' will land in Perth, Melbourne (two shows), Brisbane and Sydney (two shows). Each set will see the renowned lyricist – who first rose to prominence in the early '80s with The Smiths (alongside Johnny Marr) before launching a long, successful solo career spanning 13 albums – perform songs across his back catalogue that 'made you cry and the songs that saved your life'.
A recipient of the Ivor Nostello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music, Morrissey's next studio album will arrive late 2023 with the release of 'Without Music The World Dies'.
Fans can expect songs from this record to be performed alongside such iconic hits as 'Hand In Glove' (The Smiths debut single that was released 40 years ago), 'This Charming Man', 'How Soon Is Now?', 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out', 'Suedehead', 'Everyday Is Like Sunday', 'Irish Blood, English Heart', 'First Of The Gang To Die', and many, many more.
