More Than 65 Acts Including Jebediah, Great Gable & DICE Highlight The Stacked 2023 WAMFest Line-up

The state of live local music in Western Australia is booming highlighted by the 2023 WAMFest line-up that's stacked to the gills with burgeoning national-level talent as well as emerging acts ready to leave their mark.

After receiving more than 300 applications to perform, WAMFest programmers have whittled the line-up down to just over 65 artists and bands.

Part of WA Music Month and slated to take over the Northbridge live music district (The Rechabite, The Bird, Lynott's Lounge, Convenients, The Goodwill Club, Universal Bar, James Street Bar) as well as two outdoor stages in the WA Museum Boola Bardip precinct 17-18 November, WAMFest is the biggest gathering of original music from WA, giving the public the most delectable opportunity to discover their next favourite band while supporting the artists already dominating their playlists.

Set to be inducted into West Australian Music's Hall Of Fame fresh from releasing their first new music in 12 years, WA legends Jebediah will perform at a special ticketed event on the Friday night, joined by Rinehearts and Unicorn.

The rest of the programme is free to attend with Friday highlights being Ratking, Grunge Barbie, Siobhan Cotchin and RATSALAD.

The Saturday offering is even more bloated with incredible talent including Angie Coleman, DICE, Great Gable, Mali Jo$e, smol fish, Boox Kid, Joan & The Giants, Noah Dillon, Ra Ra Viper and Tanya Ransom.

"We are thrilled once again to feature our triple j stage and introduce a new stage presented by ECU," WAM's Executive Director Livia Carré says.

"I was stunned that we received over 300-plus applications to play at WAMFest, highlighting the abundance of talent we have here in WA.

"A heartfelt thank you goes out to the dedicated team here at WAM who have worked tirelessly to bring this all together.

"Special thanks to our WAMFest Programmer Luke Rinaldi and Event Coordinator Kimi Murphy for their exceptional efforts in making this event possible. We are anticipating an epic night celebrating the musical talent born out of our beautiful state of WA."

2023 WAMFest takes place at various locations in Northbridge (Perth) 17-18 November.
