A third round of artists have been announced for this year's 21st annual Queenscliff Music Festival, adding to an already-impressive line-up of local and international performers.
The latest additions include the likes of Australian music legends The Black Sorrows with Vika & Linda Bull, festival favourite Vince Peach, singer-songwriter Al Parkinson, duos The Twoks and This Way North, bluegrass five-piece The Collingwood Casanovas and hip hop-rock trio The Cool Calm. Sydney blues artist Jesse Redwing and alt. country couple Montgomery Church.
There will also be a showcase by Nahko & Medicine For The People's energetic violinist Tim Snider from the US.
These artists join a carefully curated selection of world-class artists across a range of styles and genre, such as Ali Barter, Alice Skye, Ben Ottewell, Courtney Barnett, Donavon Frankenreiter, The Herd, Sarah Blasko, Tripod, The Whitlams and more.
This year Queenscliff Music festival will also play host to the Festival Of Small Halls tour series, which takes the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia.
The artist line-up for Small Halls incorporates one Australian artist and one international touring artist, and in 2018 QMF will host Juno-nominated Canadian folk-pop duo Madison Violet and growling Aussie blues-folk troubadour Harry Jakamarra.
In its 21st year, the Queenscliff Music Festival has once again brought to fruition their vision for delivering and developing excellence in Australian contemporary music, and celebrating community.
Queenscliff Music Festival (Victoria) takes place 23-25 November.
