Monolith Festival returns in 2024, offering one stage-no clashes for prog, metal, and heavy music fans in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney this November.
After making its debut in 2022 with Aussie legends Karnivool and COG headlining, event organisers have upped the ante with the inclusion of New York prog rock icons Coheed And Cambria – who return to Australia for the first time since 2016 – as the main headliners.The 'A Favor House Atlantic' and 'Blood Red Summer' band will present a special live rendition of their Neverender set performing their 2005 album 'Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through Madness' in its entirety. The record features their mega hit 'Welcome Home' as well as 'The Suffering' and 'Wake Up', and has sold over one million copies worldwide.
Coheed And Cambria vocalist-guitarist Claudio Sanchez will also treat fans to a special Q&A panel: Celebrating 20 Years Of The Amory Wars: The Past, Present And Future with Claudio Sanchez. The panel will delve into the band's series of graphic novels and comics.

Coheed And Cambria will be joined by Washington DC Djent legends Periphery (the Grammy-nominated five-piece's latest album was 2023's 'Periphery V: Djent Is Not A Genre'), and veteran Norwegian prog outfit Leprous ('The Price', 'From The Flame').
Rounding out the line-up are Canadian instrumental group Intervals ('Libra', 'I'm Awake' and '5-HTP'), French metalcore band Novelists ('Smoke Signals' and 'Terrorist') and Melbourne's emerging gothic-metal favourites Silver Fang.

Alongside the music line-up will be guitar and drum workshops (with Periphery, David Parkes and much more), panels, market stalls and DJs to further enhance the festival experience for Australian prog fans.
