A Mad Max themed party, coupled with performances from 13 bands (plus DJs) will mark the rebirth and relaunch of Mo's Desert Clubhouse (Gold Coast) next month.
Victoriously pulled back from the brink of destruction and undergoing some serious renovations, the Burleigh Heads venue is revelling in the theatrics of a battle fought and won.
Mo's Desert Clubhouse will be pulling out all stops to ensure punters an immersive, desert-punk experience. Two stages will be lit up with non-stop energy, as a kaleidoscope of musicians clamber aboard to take you away into the night.
New South Wales sludge rockers Astrodeath will be there to bombard you with their spine-tingling sludge. Victorians The Balls will take it sleazy before whisking you away to a stoner-punk paradise.
The Black Armada are set to churn out their contemporary, '70s style cosmic rock. Boing Boing will bring you their laid-back, self-appointed stylings of 'meat and potatoes rock & roll'.
Cactus will be there to satisfy all of your indie rock meets jazz-fusion needs. Doolie is guaranteed to change the pace with her glittering alternative-pop sounds. Before Hammers rip you right back to a heavy metal mindset with their chug-heavy musings.
Hobo Magic will take you on a spiritual journey with their psychedelic rock. Indie rockers, Loose Leafs will crunch out some tasty numbers. Rinser will turn up the shoegaze and dream-pop.
The Stingin' Rogers are set to showcase their own personal brand of rock & roll. Thee End Less will fire up a blend of roots and indie punk. Psychedelic blues band Tree will keep things going at a trippy pace.
Finally, 8 Mile Yacht Club DJs and their trusted boat/ stage prop Olive will ensure the party continues well and truly into the night.
