American pop, R&B duo MKTO continue their return to the stage in 2025, revealing their first Australian live dates in more than a decade.
The pairing of Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller, whom Taylor Swift declared: "So catchy, so danceable. This duo is one of my favourite things out there," will headline concerts in Melbourne and Sydney this October.MKTO performed their mega hit 'Classic' (1.5 billion Spotify streams) live onstage with Taylor as part of her 1989 world tour as well as collaborating with the likes of Simple Plan on their international hit single 'Summer Paradise'.
Alongside 'Classic', MKTO's collection of anthems includes 'American Dream', 'How Can I Forget', 'Wasted', 'Thank You', 'Just Imagine It' and 'Monaco'. Without any new music releases in over five years, MKTO maintain nearly nine million monthly listeners on Spotify, and over one million Youtube subscribers.
"It's been a minute since we've been back. We've always had a lot of love for Australia," shares Malcolm. While Tony adds: "We are so excited to get back down under and perform again!"
With nostalgic fans sharing and rediscovering their music through TikTok and a recent resurgence of pop-culture references, it's safe to say that MKTO are entering their 'Classic' era in 2025.
Tickets on sale from 10am AEST on 5 June.
