Lo-fi, alternative, indie singer-songwriter, Mk.gee is bringing his world tour to Australia late 2024.
The 'Are You Looking Up' and 'How Many Miles' hitmaker will headline concerts in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in December.After emerging in 2017 with the single 'I Know How You Get', Mk.gee released two EPs in 2018: 'Pronounced McGee' and 'Fool'. The New Jersey native has also worked as a songwriter-producer for The Kid Laroi, Dijon, Omar Apollo, and Kacy Hill.
Earlier this year, Mk.gee released his debut album, 'Two Star & The Dream Police', with his guitar sounds drawing praise from one the greatest guitarists of all time. "He has found things to do on the guitar that are like nobody else," Eric Clapton said in a recent interview with Stereogum.
So it's time to find out why Pitchfork has labelled Mk.gee 'nothing in contemporary music sounds quite like it'.
