Metronomy Are (Probably) Playing Splendour

You can (pretty much) lock Metronomy in for an appearance at Splendour In The Grass.

Speaking to Purple Sneakers, Joseph Mount — the frontman of the London indie pop geniuses — came over all coy when he was asked directly whether his band would be on the Splendour bill. "When do they announce that festival?" he asked.

"I think we're planning on coming to Australia in your winter but I'm not sure were that falls with these things. But we're excited to come and visit and we'll be seeing you in maybe... I don't know, maybe June? July? That kind of time?"

Splendour In The Grass will take place at North Byron Parklands from Friday July 25.

Metronomy join the heavily rumoured London Grammar, James Vincent McMorrow, Sky Ferreira, and Outkast on the Splendour In The Grass 2014 board. The actual line-up should be announced shortly.
