With Aunty Meredith turning 28 this year, the Victorian festival that is still proudly BYO and free of commercial sponsors returns with another sizzling line-up featuring an array of indie talent across rock, punk, electronic, hip hop, folk, roots and world music.
Alternative rocker legends The Breeders will be joined by folk-punk icon Billy Bragg and doyens of Australian dance music The Presets to headline 2018 Meredith Music Festival in country Victoria 7-9 December.
Other additions include Korean-American electronic artist Yaeji, Sydney based African poet and hip hop star Sampa The Great, Chicago house maverick Lil Louis, Melbourne songwriter Laura Jean and psych rockers Pond.
As you explore the line-up further, there are also tasty dishes to be found in the form of The Aints, The Pharcyde, Mental As Anything and Mildlife.
Interested in attending? There's only one type of ticket. Everyone flies First Class. The full Meredith experience – including camping, parking and booking fee – is $391.20.
The Ballot (click here for more information) is open now until 10:28pm on Tuesday 14 August. Event organisers stress it's the best way to get tickets, is free and easy to enter and is open to all comers.
Meredith also proudly boasts a 'no dickhead policy', which has been in place since the early '90s; so you know, don't be a dick. Simples.
