Melbourne/ Narrm-based artist, producer and vocalist, Memphis LK has turned one of her favourite songs into a dance-floor filler.
"I decided to make a club version out of one of my fave songs," Memphis says, who has fused electro-pop, two-step garage and driving bass to reimagine Tame Impala's 'The Less I Know The Better'.Mixed by Japanese Wallpaper, Memphis transports the 'Currents' hit into the club sphere alongside a fun pre-pandemic video.
"I cut in some videos from my camera roll from before we went into lockdown to remind us of the good times, in the hope that we'll all be together again sooooon!" Memphis says.
"Parts of this video are filmed on beautiful Kaurna country ♥ I pay respects to First Nations peoples' and I acknowledge and value their ongoing connection to land, water, culture and spirit."
This release follows Memphis' recent cover of Justin Timberlake's 'Cry Me A River' (sung in her kitchen) and her powerhouse bass-driven original 'Green Light'.
