Melbourne Ska Orchestra To Release New Album And Tour Nationally

Melbourne Ska Orchestra
National Music Editor, based in Brisbane, Australia.
'Passionate about true crime docos, the Swannies, golf and sleep, I’ve been writing about music for 20-plus years. What I’ve learnt? There’s two types of music – good and bad.’

Melbourne Ska Orchestra (MSO) have announced the release of their second album, 'Sierra-Kilo-Alpha', which will coincide with a national tour.

'Sierra-Kilo-Alpha' is the MSO’s own history: a nod to the past with an eye firmly on the future, dangerous and free. Recorded at the ABC and Freeburgh studios in Melbourne, the album, out on 22 April, throbs with hope, excitement and freshness.

MSO’s live performance is nothing short of spectacular, sometimes tipping the 30 player mark. The album tour – capital city and regional dates, spanning from April to June – will be no different with between 20 and 30 band members at all times.
