Meghan Trainor All About Shaming 'Skinny Bitches'?

Pop phenom Meghan Trainor's 'All About That Bass' is creating a stir for all the wrong reasons.

With over 8 million hits on Youtube, Meghan has received lots of nasty comments about the video (and it isn't aimed at the poorly choreographed dance moves).

Girls are attacking the bootilicious blonde's clip because it "shames skinny girls", and promotes "loving yourself but with lots of make-up" and "obesity".

The infectious ditty which peaked at #3 in Australia and the US, carries a body-positive message wrapped into a cute metaphor, the candy-coloured clip — which features Vine celeb Sione Maraschinowas — was released quietly in June, but has since skyrocketed her into the Hot 100.

What do you think about the video? Is it offensive? And yes, the parodies have started...

In an impromptu live performance — the first live performance of the song — there was less of the candy sweetness and a little more of the dissin'. Specifically of "skinny bitches".
