Back for its ninth instalment, regional Victorian boutique music festival Meadow returns in 2023 (31 March to 2 April) with its line-up featuring two international headliners.
Philadelphia's lo-fi rocker Kurt Vile and his band The Violators and London's post-punk revivalists and noise-rock band black midi will both make their way to the Bambra Bowl, located on Gulidjan, Gadubanud and Wadawurrung land. They'll be joined by folk-rock singer-songwriter Jen Cloher, regular Flume collaborator Kučka, blues-punk-folk-rock collective Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, 'Get Out!' and 'The Opposite Of Us' indie charmers Big Scary and experimental rapper Agung Mango.
"Loving my Australia trip so much I'm coming back next year [to Meadow]," enthuses Kučka.
Adds Cash Savage: "Huge line-up for Meadow 2023. Lovely way to celebrate my birthday."
For those that flourish in the deepest parts of the night, Meadow's stage will host some of Australia's finest selectors and producers after dark. From Sydney, Mall Grab collaborator Loods will bring his series of 2022 dance-floor hits from a European summer stint straight to the Bambra Bowl alongside local favourite Rona and the eclectic sonic stylings of Ayebatonye.
That's not all. Other local mover and shakers on the bill include Daine, Mirasia, Ruby Gill, Komang, Gena Rose Bruce, Delivery, Dr Sure's Unusual Practice Workhorse, Way Dynamic, and Wildfire Manwurrk.
Tickets are on sale.
