American emo rockers Mayday Parade return to Australia in 2025, celebrating the band's 20th birthday.
The 'Jamie All Over', 'Miserable At Best' and 'Somebody That I Used To Know' hitmakers will headline concerts in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth in September.Mayday Parade will be joined by the recently reformed Jack's Mannequin (for their first Australian shows in 15 years) and The Home Team (who return to Australia for the second time, having toured last year with Caskets). "Mayday Parade is so excited to return to Australia to headline in celebrating 20 years as a band and our current releases," guitarist Alex Garcia says.
"Throughout all this time some of our best shows have been in Australia and that's because our fans there are so incredibly special. We can't wait to celebrate this band with you guys!"
Already with seven studio albums to their name, Mayday Parade are currently undertaking a three-part album project, with the first instalment 'Sweet' dropping this April.
"'Sweet' is the first of a trilogy of releases from our most ambitious album project yet so stay tuned for more exciting announcements as we celebrate 20 years of Mayday Parade in 2025," shared the band, who recently released the single 'By The Way' which features on 'Sweet'.
The brainchild of Andrew McMahon, Jack's Mannequin are also preparing to celebrate their 20th anniversary. "To all the kind folks who've been posting Aussie flags in the comments of our tour announcements – we're making a trip of it with our buds Mayday Parade and The Home Team."
