A rising star of indie rock and Americana, American artist Max McNown will tour Australia for the very first time in 2025.
A 2024 that saw him release his debut album 'Wandering' (featuring his breakthrough track 'A Lot More Free') alongside Billboard's Country Rookie Of The Month and CMT's Next Up Now feature artist accolades, McNown will headline concerts in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne next May.McNown is due to release his sophomore album 'Night Diving' next week, which features lead single 'Better Me For You' as well as 'Roses And Wolves' (feat. Hailey Whitters)'.
"The opportunity to work with someone as talented and kind as Hailey is not something I take for granted. Hope y'all enjoy this one as much as I do," posted Max.
A talent for writing songs that soundtrack our most intimate moments (from intense heartache to life-changing revelations), Max has travelled far since leaving his Oregon home to busk beachside in Southern California to now being based in Nashville.
"When I was younger I sang around the house all the time – I'd sing in the shower or before I went to bed, I'd always sing in the car," he says. "My mom used to tell us growing up that singing means you have a happy heart. Even if the song's about something difficult or painful, I still have a happy heart when I sing."
