Matt Corby Added To WOMADelaide As Replacement For Ziggy Marley

Matt Corby has been drafted in to replace Ziggy Marley at 2020 WOMADelaide.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

After yesterday's news that Ziggy Marley has pulled out of this weekend's WOMADelaide (where he was to perform the headline slot on Monday), event organisers have confirmed two-time ARIA Song Of The Year winner Matt Corby has been drafted in to replace Ziggy.

WOMADelaide Director Ian Scobie says that he was delighted Matt was available to headline the final night of the festival.

“Matt is the perfect fit to complete the Monday night line-up and we believe that he will bring something unexpected and astonishing to our closing night.

“Our gratitude goes out to Matt, his band and his management for working with the WOMADelaide team to bring him into what is already a wonderful line-up at such short notice.”

If Matt's set is anything like what he produced at Splendour last year, WOMADelaiude is in for a treat.

WOMADelaide 2020 opens today and runs through until midnight Monday 9 March in Botanic Park (Adelaide).
