Held at the end of winter on the Sunshine Coast, the inaugural Maroochy Music And Visual Arts Festival as announced their line-up of artists – both visual and music.
Taking place on the lush Horton Park Golf Course in August, the boutique event promises a relaxed, chilled out vibe with couches surrounding the seventh hole and unique art installations including giant inflatable glowing rabbits made by Tasmanian artist Amanda Parer.

Hot on the back of sold-out national tours for his debut EP ‘Vessel’ The Kite String Tangle – an uber-successful triple threat (singer/ songwriter/ producer) – will treat his legion of fans to an extended view of his captivating live set.
ARIA award-winning indie-thrash duo – and a Brissie favourite – DZ Deathrays will also join the list along with sonic masters Hiatus Kaiyote, One Day, Alpine, Gang of Youths, Harts, Marlon Williams & the Yarra Benders and WAAX,.

But who will be headlining the event if all the acts are already high-flyers? It's a total secret, but they can tell us that the act has played at some of the world's biggest festivals this year – so no matter what, you're in for a treat.
Heading up the visual arts line-up will be Amanda Parer with her life size installation 'Intrude' – giant inflatable bunnies. After touring MONA, London, Berlin and Tokyo, to name a few, these five well-travelled, illuminated rabits will dot the bunkers and mounds surrounded by Sunshine Coast local street art and digital extravaganzas set to get the heart beating and the mind racing.
Punters can expect to rub shoulders with music heavyweights and be immersed in an open-air visual art gallery that will leave them in awe, Maroochy Music and Visual Arts Festival. Situated in the heart of Maroochydore, the little piece of paradise will see the one-day festival bring culinary delights, specially curated art stalls and many more surprises to come.
