Returning for its second year, the Maroochy Music And Visual Arts Festival (MMVAF) has revealed its 2016 programme, boasting one of the most impressive lineups of bands and artists the Sunshine Coast has seen.
After the rousing success of last year's inaugural event, MMVAF 2016 have upped the ante with headliners Matt Corby and Peking Duk, joined by the likes of Allday, George Maple, City Calm Down, NGAIIRE and Bad//Dreems.
MMVAF 2015Held at the old Horton Park Golf Course on 10 September, MMVAF 2016 promises an immersive music and arts experience. Joining the ranks of Aussie bands are a stable of innovative visual artists such as Wintercroft from the UK, and renowned installation artist Amanda Parer who will unveil a specially-commissioned piece as part of her 'Fantastic Planet' series set to tour the globe.
There's also the MMVAF Champagne & Oyster Garden where you can enjoy some finer culinary delights accompanied by an eclectic lineup of local and interstate talent, like jazz-pop group Inigo, or the punk rock of Melbourne's BATZ.

One main stage amphitheatre means there's no timeable clashes or missing out on your favourite act. With more acts to be announced as the festival nears, MMVAF 2016 looks set to fine arts and music on the Sunshine Coast.
