The gravely-voiced one aka Mark Lanegan is headed down under with a trio of shows slated for September in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
With a resume that includes Screaming Trees and Queens Of The Stone Age, Lanegan has crafted an extensive solo career that now stands at ten records with the release last year of 'Gargoyle'.
A discography that weaves through grunge, blues, acoustic ballads and alt-country, Lanegan has been influential on several generations of musicians.
He has shared the studio with the likes of Moby, UNKLE, Warpaint and Massive Attack, released records with Belle and Sebastian's Isobel Campbell, Guns n' Roses' Duff McKagan and The Twilight Singers Greg Dulli, among a multitude of others.
