After taking a gap year, the biggest R&B, hip hop party down under is back, and in a massive way with a blockbuster line-up.
Fridayz Live has always provided star-power and artists with generational reach. 2025 has levelled up to the President's Suite with the one, the only Mariah Carey to be joined by Mr. Worldwide himself, Pitbull. That is not a typo, folks! Some 11 years since she last toured Australia, Mariah Carey will be back playing Fridayz Live – which will touch down in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Melbourne this October.
One of the biggest names in pop the last 30 yers and a 5-time Grammy Award winner, Mariah's resume speaks for itself with monster hit after monster hit including 'We Belong Together', 'Obsessed', 'Fantasy', 'Always be My Baby' and 'Hero'.
When it comes to star power, there is no bigger constellation than Carey, who has sold 200 million albums and amassed a record-breaking 19 Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles.
Beaming just as bright with that impeccable smile, Pitbull is a global star in his own right selling out stadiums across the globe while igniting a global TikTok craze.
Pitbull is the ultimate live showman, and his hits ignite any dance floor, especially when his endless catalogue of hits includes 'Give Me Everything', 'Timber', 'Time Of Our Lives', 'Hotel Room Service', 'Feel This Moment', and 'I Know You Want Me'.
Just when you thought Fridayz Live couldn't outdo themselves, the rest of the line-up is a who's who of hip hop, R&B the last 20-25 years.
We're talking Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa, whose blend of pop hooks, effortless charm and stoner rap swagger has made him a hip-hop icon. His catalogue of hits includes such anthems as 'See You Again', 'Young Wild & Free', 'Black And Yellow', 'The Thrill' and 'We Own It'.
Then there's Lil Jon, the master of the club anthem who has been shaking dance floors with his crunk, party-starting energy for three-plus decades. You just know he'll 'Turn Down For What' then 'Snap Yo Fingers' before ending with 'Shots'.
Adding even more star power to the Fridayz Live line-up is Eve. Bursting onto the scene in the late '90s, Eve quickly broke barriers and established herself as one of the most iconic figures in hip hop with hits such as 'Let Me Blow Ya Mind', 'Gangsta Lovin'', and 'Who's That Girl'.
UK rap royalty Tinie Tempah is also returning to Australia for Fridayz Live. From his breakthrough track 'Pass Out' to a string of chart-topping hits such as 'Girls Like', 'Miami 2 Ibiza' and 'Written In The Stars'.
Rounding out the 2025 bill is powerhouse vocalist Jordin Sparks, the 'American Idol' winner helping to redefine the pop, R&B sound of the early 2000s with such bangers as 'No Air', 'One Step At A Time', 'Tattoo' and 'Battlefield'.
