After selling out his 2019 Australian tour (as well as his 2020 run of shows that had to be cancelled due to COVID), rising US blues artist Marcus King returns down under in 2023 for headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
King's 2020 debut album, that was nominated for Best Americana Album at the Grammy Awards, was produced by The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach.King and Auerbach have again teamed together on Marcus' sophomore record 'Young Blood', which is slated for release 26 August.
"I can't wait for you all to hear this record," the fourth generation musician from South Carolina says.
"Dan Auerbach and I knew each other a lot better on this one. We cut everything live, including the vocals and guitar.
"This was a whole different vibe for us – the chemistry was there right away."
