Set to join Ed Sheehan as his special guest on the Australian leg of his '+ - = ÷ x' stadium tour, Maisie Peters will also headline her own run of shows while she's down under.
Signed to Sheeran's Gingerbread Man Records label, where she released her debut album 'You Signed Up for This' last year, Peters will perform concerts in Byron Bay, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle. "Australia, I'm coming for you honey. I have a deep-love connection to Australia. . . I honestly feel like I'm an honorary citizen, and being able to play a show there has been a dream since the very beginning.
"So excited to join Mr Sheeran and be playing my own shows there next year, to dance with you all and to have the time of our very lives."
Currently working on her sophomore studio album, Maisie's current single is 'Not Another Rockstar'.
"I wrote 'Not Another Rockstar' about my very debatable track record with men," Peters says, who sold out London's famed venue O2 Academy Brixton in just under an hour earlier this year.
"The song aims to make fun at me and my decisions, and them and their guitars. . . I hope everyone comes out of this song realising the true rockstar was in fact me. Obviously.
"No longer the rockstar's girlfriend, we are the whole rockstar these days, girls."
Tickets on sale from 12pm EDT on 2 November.
