It's the return of the mac when Canadian wunderkind Mac DeMarco hits Australian shores next year for his biggest-ever headline run.
Dubbed 'Here Comes Mac DeMarco', the tour is off the back of Mac's fourth album 'Here Comes The Cowboy', which was described as his 'masterpiece' upon release back in May.
Joining Mac on the east coast leg of the Australian tour will be WA psych-rockers POND and Japanese feminist quartet CHAI, making their Australian debut in the wake of their critically-adored album 'Punk'. In Perth, hometown rockers Cold Meat help open the show.
Known for his on-stage antics and rowdy performance persona, Mac last played sold-out east coast dates alongside his sets at Laneway Festival in 2018.
The Canadian-born artist has always taken a more contemplative approach to songwriting, hitting his thoughtful and introspective best on 'Here Comes The Cowboy'.
