Global chart-topping artist Louis Tomlinson will make his highly anticipated return to Australia this October, as part of his ‘How Did We Get Here?’ world tour.
The tour comes after the release of Louis’s third full-length studio album of the same name, which was released in January. It debuted in Australia at #3 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Louis has already teased Australian fans during interviews: “As long as I’ve been touring, I’ve always come to Aus. It’s inevitable. I love it there. So yeah, I’ll definitely be there!”
Louis was last here in 2024. Our reviewer wrote of his Brisbane show: "From leaping onto the barrier to join the crowd to staying behind after his performance to take photos with fans, Louis Tomlinson ensured the night was truly unforgettable, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of every single person in attendance."
The Australian dates round out a stacked 50-plus date world tour, beginning this month in Europe before hitting the UK, Canada, and US. . . Followed by Australia.
For the new album, Louis pushed himself as a lyricist, songwriter and performer. As a writer, he dove deeper into who he is, than ever before. He assembled a handful of ideas in the English countryside, before decamping to Santa Teresa in Costa Rica for three weeks early last year.
Louis’s solo career began in 2020, with ‘Walls’. The debut LP moved more than 1.2 million copies worldwide, reeling in nearly a billion total streams. Two years later came ‘Faith In The Future’, cracking the top five in Australia, and this year, ‘How Did I Get Here?’ continues his chart dominance.
This will be a chance to see Louis play some of the biggest Australian venues he’s performed in to date.
