For the very first time, American deathcore band Lorna Shore will tour Australia.
The New Jersey group, responsible for such hits as 'To The Hellfire' and 'Of The Abyss', will headline concerts in Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane next February."Good things happen to those who wait, or that patience is a virtue," shares lead guitarist and longest serving member of Lorna Shore, Adam De Micco, "but enough overused cliches to acknowledge it's been long overdue that we finally tour the land down under.
"With all that being said we are excited to announce we are finally touring Australia. We hope to see all of you there."
The group forged their present line-up and sound in 2020 against the backdrop of a pandemic, a singer change, and cancelled tours.
With new singer Will Ramos, Lorna Shore's most recent studio album was 2022's 'Pain Remains'; the band have since snagged viral status on TikTok generating millions of streams that saw the band support Australian metalcore juggernauts Parkway Drive.
Joining Lorna Shore on this tour will be fellow American deathcore band Bodysnatcher ('King Of Rage Rats', 'Take Me To Hell') and Aussie heavy favourites To The Grave (who have previously supported Cattle Decapitation, Thy Art Is Murder and Carnifex).
Tickets on sale from 10am (local time) on 14 June.
