Festival wristbands are all the rage in fashion but baby, there's a change coming. Wristbands are going digital. The future is NOW!
Do you go to festivals and worry about losing a wad of cashola while you mosh, rave or boogie your day away? If you plan to attend this years Lolla-love-in and want to have a Lollapalooza boozer, be prepared to be part of a first where attendees will be issued with wristbands that are digitally connected to their credit/debit cards in order for them to purchase food and drinks.
The wristbands will be available offline and will mean attendees can remain cash-free during the event, taking the worry out of carrying around a money-holding vessel. This way, the kids can focus all their energy on dancing in stringlets, cut-off denim and generally being fully-sick dudes and dudettes, while they make sexy eyes at each other from across a field of sweaty bodies and their favourite rad muso's rock their world on stage.
If you happen to be in the US at the beginning of August then you should probably get your groove on at Lollapalooza August 1-3 at Grant Park, Chicago.
