After teasing their fans throughout the week that both bands were involved in a creative dispute with legal action looming, Lime Cordiale and Ball Park Music have fessed up – it was all a ruse ahead of a joint national tour.
In what will be their biggest Australian headline shows to date, Lime Cordiale will bring their Enough Of The Sweet Talk tour to Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in October. . . and Ball Park Music is tagging along for all dates."We've been spending so much time overseas, it's so exciting to come home for our biggest shows yet," admit Lime Cordiale. "We're putting a lot into making the production and stage set super exciting but as always, we want to make this feel like an intimate, 100-capacity party.
"Ball Park Music are debatably the best band in the country. They've been an inspiration to us since we first met ten years ago. We can't believe it's taken this long to tour together."
With multiple ARIA Award wins/ nominations as well as a 2020 J Award, Lime Cordiale have released two albums – '14 Steps To A Better You' and 'Permanent Vacation' – along with 'Cordi Elba', their collaboration with actor/ musician/ DJ Idris Elba.
With new music incoming this year, fans can expect to hear all the hits: 'Temper Temper', 'Robbery', 'Inappropriate Behaviour', 'Money', 'Waking Up Easy' and 'Naturally'.
Adds Ball Park Music: "We've wanted to go on tour with the Lime legends for years, but it's always been a pipe dream. . . until now! Can't wait to share the stage and put on incredible concerts together."
Regular festival favourites who've built their own loyal fan base with such indie bangers as 'It's Nice To Believe', 'She Only Loves Me When I'm There', 'Exactly How You Are', 'Cherub' and 'The Perfect Life Does Not Exist', Ball Park Music have released seven studio albums (their most recent being 2022's 'Weirder & Weirder'), received eight ARIA Award nominations and four Queensland Music Awards trophies.
