Lily Allen might not be the biggest fan of Robin Thicke and Miley Cyrus, if her new single and video are any indication.
The 'Hard Out Here' clip sees Allen surrounded by twerking dancers, a not-exactly-subtle reference to Ms Cyrus, while the line 'Have you thought about your butt / Who's going to tear it in two?' is a response to Robin Thicke's ludicrous claim in 'Blurred Lines' that he'll 'give you something big enough to tear your ass in two'.
At the climax of the clip, Allen — who hadn't released an original track since 2009, and was thought to be retired for a while there — dances in front of balloons spelling out 'Lily Allen has a baggy pussy', her response to the 'Robin Thicke has a big dick' graffiti in the 'Blurred Lines' video.
Beyond Thicke and Cyrus, though, the track and the clip demonstrate Allen's disdain for celebrity culture, and the pressure applied to women by the media to be 'sexy' (if you're not hot, Allen sings, you better be 'real good at cooking').
Allen's new LP is due out in 2014.
