'Someone You Loved' and 'Before You Go' Scottish soul-pop crooner (and social media funnyman), Lewis Capaldi is returning to Australia in 2023.
Recently disclosing his Tourette's syndrome diagnoses via Instagram Live as well as launching his own range of pizzas that are delightfully called Big Sexy Pizza – "Do you like warm mouthfuls of delight? Well, thankfully your old pal Lewis here has you covered." – last month Lewis released his first new song in three years, 'Forget Me', that landed at #1 on the UK singles chart."'Forget Me' is my first song in nearly three years! Wasn't sure what to expect coming back after so long away, but want to thank every single one of you for all for all of your support."
'Forget Me' will feature on Capaldi's new studio record, 'Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent' (that's due for release May 2023).
The music video for 'Forget Me' finds Lewis re-enacting Wham's 1983 hit 'Club Tropicana' shot-for-shot.
This will be Lewis first tour to Australia since appearing at Falls Festival the summer of 2019-20; that trip also saw him sell out a number of his own headline shows. Capaldi will venture to Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne July 2023.
But first Lewis will be jetting out to Australia next month to co-host the ARIA Awards. How fancy!
