Leon Thomas

Grammy Award-winning R&B-soul artist, Leon Thomas brings his Mutts Don't Heel world tour to Australia in 2026.

However, originally scheduled for April dates, due to a scheduling conflict, Leon has rescheduled the concerts to June.

The 'Mutt', 'Yes It Is' and 'Treasure In The Hills' hitmaker will headline concerts in Brisbane, Melbourne (x2 shows), Sydney (x2 shows), Adelaide and Perth.

"No leash. No limits. . . Don't say I didn't warn you," posted Leon when the tour was originally announced.

Fans with tickets to the April dates will be automatically transferred to the new shows – ticket purchasers will be contacted directly with further details, including refund information if unable to attend the new dates.

"Australia. . . the way you showed up and bought tickets for me means more than you know. I'm moving the Mutts Don'T Heel tour to June, so we can do this the way it deserves to be done – big, loud, and full of heart.

"Your tickets are locked in and valid for the new dates. Can't wait to see of y'all soon. See y'all soon."

He recently appeared live on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' performing 'Not Fair'. "Felt like the start of something bigger," he posted after the show. "Salute to the band, the team, and the ones who keep running it back. Let's keep pushing the sound forward 🤘🏽."

Originally forging a career on Broadway during the 2000s, appearing in such musicals as 'The Lion King' and 'The Color Purple', Leon has also cultivated an acting career appearing in Nickelodeon series 'Victorious' (2010–2013) and animated series 'The Backyardigans' (2006–2008) voicing Tyrone.

After pivoting to music, Thomas achieved success in the 2010s as a member of the production duo The Rascals, winning a Grammy Award from two nominations.

He has co-written and co-produced for several artists, including his 'Victorious' co-star Ariana Grande, Babyface, Drake, Rick Ross, SZA, and Toni Braxton.

The Mutts Don't Heel world tour promotes Thomas' 2024 album 'Mutt' that features guest appearances from Masego, Wale, Ty Dolla $ign and Baby Rose.

He recently dropped 'Mutt Deluxe: Heel', where Leon digs deeper into his sonic universe, fetching a bold blend of psychedelic R&B, rock textures, soul, and boundary-pushing production.

New collaborations with Kehlani, Big Sean, and Halle elevate the project's emotional and musical scope, as Leon hones his reflections on single-hood, connection, and self-exposure.

Last month, Leon released the EP 'Pholks'. "It is the embodiment of my art, inspirations, community and the need to feel," he posted.
