Only eight more sleeps for Melbourne and Adelaide peoples; and fifteen more sleeps for Sydney and Brisbane folks; before Australia’s largest, hard rocking, metal churning, headbanging, screaming circus comes to town.
Starting with the bad news, Melodic Metalcore band, Evergreen Terrace, has had to pull out of this year’s festival due to an unfortunate accident.

So, if you are still sitting on the fence, get off your arse and spend some of that hard-earned cash and start locking in your favourite show dates! Adelaidians on the other hand, witnessed Muddah fire a warning shot across the bow earlier in the week with this comment:

Just as tempers reached simmering point about missing Judas Priest and Marilyn Manson Sidewaves, the Soundwave peeps have announced a barrage of Melbourne Sidewaves. Starting on Monday, 23 February and continuing right through to Friday, 27 February, the feast of bands includes: Butcher Babies, The Treatment, Animals As Leaders, Fucked Up, The Swellers, The Aquabats and This Wild Life.
