Haven't had a chance to buy tickets to Laneway Festival? Don't worry, because Laneway Festival has just announced extra sideshows from Laneway artists.
The musicians announced to play intimate sideshows include Banks, Benjamin Booker, Highasakite, Lykke Li, Mac DeMarco and Raury.
With the recent success of her debut LP 'Goddess' in September, Banks is set to bring her eerily striking vocals and moody beats to the Laneway Festival Sideshows. Banks has had a successful 2014, from a BBC Sound of 2014 nomination, a breakout Coachella performance in April and a string of sold out shows, the L.A. native is one artist not to miss.
Banks will be supported by up-and-coming Sydney trio Mansionair whose first single ‘Hold Me Down‘ has amassed a staggering 5.9 million YouTube views.

Indiepop band from Norway, Highasakite will also be performing at the sideshows. After the success of their break-out single 'Since Last Wednesday', the group have grown musically, with their new album 'Silent Treatment' combining rousing vocals from frontwoman Ingrid Havik supported by wicked percussion and synth. Highasakite have spent the last few months wowing audiences at numerous international festival, including tastemakers at this year’s OYA Festival.

Lykke Li brings her compelling, ethereal and confronting live show to the Laneway Festival Sideshows. The Swedish singer-songwriter often blends elements of indie pop, alternative and electronic must whilst incorporating various musical instruments. Her most recent album 'I Never Learn' was released in 2014 and has had a positive response from fans.

Thu Jan 29th – Forum Theatre (Melbourne)Mac DeMarco is set to bring his “jizz jazz” style of music to the Laneway Festival Sideshows. The Canadian artist has released his third record 'Salad Days', taking on a more serious turn from his previous playful and buzzy music. Mac DeMarco is known for his groovy and melodic music and fun atmosphere at live shows.

Raury is the youngest artist by far to perform at the sideshows, having swapped tracks with Kanye West and being booked to open for OutKast, all by the time he turned 18. Raury combines intelligent lyrics which double as a voice of youth, blending rap, folk and soul into his music. His debut LP 'Indigo Child' showcases is talents as an artist, followed up by his breakout single 'God's Whisperer'.
Raury will be supported by rising locals Milwaukee Banks. The Melbourne-based producer and rapper duo Edo and Dyl Thomas are exciting new audiences with their fresh, intelligent take on hip-hop.
