Joey Valence & Brae
These guys went from college students to DIY sensations almost overnight – thanks to their 2021 viral hit ‘Double Jump’. In 2023, JVB released their first full-length album ‘PUNK TACTICS’, which has amassed more than 129 million streams from the title track alone. Sophomore album ‘NO HANDS’ takes all the energy from the debut, and amplifies it.

Julie
Los Angeles band and art project Julie exploded on to the scene in 2020 with debut single ‘flutter’. In the four years since, they’ve opened for the likes of Alex G and Faye Webster, combining shoegaze, grunge, and post-punk, and stomping over genre and stylistic bounds on their heavy-hitter debut album ‘my anti-aircraft friend’. They bring their project to Australia for the very first time in February.
13 February – Factory Theatre (Sydney)
15 February – Corner Hotel (Melbourne)
