Ready the tea and scones, 'cause the English are coming to Laneway Festival in 2020 with pop rockers The 1975 and electropop singer Charli XCX (exclusive Australian appearance) headlining the national travelling festival.
Charli XCX is fresh off releasing her third album last week 'Charli', which features collaborations with Troye Sivan, Lizzo, Christine and the Queens, Sky Ferreira, Kim Petras, Haim and a heap more.
While The 1975 recently dropped new single 'People', from their forthcoming 2020 album 'Notes On A Conditional Form'.
Next up is emerging Australian pop star Ruel, who won last year's Breakout Artist at the ARIA Awards. In another coup for Laneway, American rapper Earl Sweatshirt will perform exclusively at all 2020 dates (with no side shows).
Then there's this year’s Hottest 100 winner Ocean Alley as well as Aussie Britpop rockers DMA'S, Atlanta rapper J.I.D, and current 'it' act Tones And I.
You'll also find a few staples of the local indie rock scene: King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Hockey Dad and The Chats. Scroll down to read the complete first line-up announce.
