Laneway Announces 2015 Dates & Venues

Lorde @ Laneway Festival 2014
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

The Laneway Festival – which celebrated its tenth bithday this year – today announces their plans for 2015.

After a decade of hosting some of the world's best artists before they launched into stardom, the Laneway Festival hasn't forgotten its humble origin of the 'colourful' alley in the backstreets of Melbourne's CBD. This year, the celebration of urban music will return to the five Australian cities that welcome it yearly along with iconic locations in Singapore and New Zealand.

For Brisbane, the festival will be held on a Saturday for the first time in six years. Moving to a completely new, more spacious part of the RNA showgrounds, the festival will this year be open to punters 16 years and older for the first time (Adelaide will also be a 16+ show). For Western Australian's, the move from Perth to Fremantle's historic West End and Esplanade Reserve frees up space for the summer music festival to come alive.

The full festival line-up will be announced on Thursday, 2nd October – but until then, mark your diaries for Laneway's date in your city!
