American country star Lainey Wilson has added headline concerts to her Australian visit in 2024.
Already set to perform at CMC Rocks QLD 2024 in Brisbane (which has sold out), the 'Things A Man Oughta Know' and 'Watermelon Moonshine' singer and her band will also visit Melbourne and Sydney next March."There's no better feeling than putting on a show for a group of folks who have supported from afar for so long," Wilson says.
"I'm so excited to bring the 'Lainey Wilson: LIVE' tour overseas next year. My crew and I can't wait to bring this show to Australia and perform in some brand-new cities for the first time."
Wilson was the star at the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards earlier this year, winning four awards including Album Of The Year ('Bell Bottom Country') and Female Artist Of The Year.
The Louisiana native is a sought-after songwriter, having co-writer credits on songs by artists including Luke Combs and Flatland Calvary. Wilson also joined the cast of 'Yellowstone' in 2022, with her song 'Smell Like Smoke' also featuring in the fifth season (episode three).
Set to join Lainey will be fellow emerging American country music stars Jackson Dean and Kameron Marlowe.
Dean's – who made his live debut in Australia last month – debut single, 'Don't Come Lookin'', which also featured on 'Yellowstone', has been viewed more than 6.5 million times on YouTube.
Marlowe, who was a contestant on the 2018 US version of 'The Voice', released his debut album 'We Were Cowboys' last year (it features the hits 'Giving You Up', 'Burn Em All' and 'Girl On Fire'.
Tickets on sale from 2pm (local time) on 13 November.
